PMT Security has announced a strategic partnership with DroneShield to include advanced counter-drone capabilities, enhancing the protection of government agencies, correctional facilities, critical infrastructure and the like, across Australia.
Under the partnership, PMT Security will incorporate DroneShield’s suite of counter-drone technologies, including radar, radiofrequency, acoustic and optical detection systems, into its security solutions. DroneShield’s proprietary artificial intelligence engine enables real-time identification of drone activity, providing operators with early warning, situational awareness, and escalation pathways.
Mitigation tools complement PMT Security’s existing capabilities in access control, perimeter protection, video analytics, and communications. This creates a layered defence approach tailored to the unique needs of high-risk environments such as correctional facilities, defence bases, airports, ports, utilities, and large-scale public venues.
