Organised by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited, the evening incorporated three separate awards programs (the Australian Security Industry Awards for Excellence, the Outstanding Security Performance Awards and the Australian Security Medals Foundation Awards), which provided an opportunity to celebrate the many exceptional individuals and organisations in the security industry.
“Tonight’s recipients reflect the increasingly important contribution Australia’s security industry makes in helping keep our community safe 24/7. Safeguarding the well-being of individuals and protecting both the digital and physical environments in which we live and work” says John Fleming, General Manager, ASIAL.
Damian McMeekin, Chair of the Australian Medals Foundation Awards said, ”The nominations and other input received by the Foundation this year have demonstrated yet again the quality, value and importance of security personnel’s vital contributions to the Australian community’s safety and harmony. The breadth, depth and consistency of that contribution is demonstrated in only some small part in this year’s awards for service, and for saving lives. The Australian security sector and its people continue meeting challenging circumstances with professionalism, and we commend them.”
Professor Martin Gill, Director, World Excellence Awards said, “Once again the calibre of entries was exceptional. This year the Outstanding Security Performance Awards provide an extra spotlight on those achieving a high level of performance in different areas of security in Australia; the winners of each category will represent Australia at the Global OSPAs awards – alongside the winners from
other countries – that will take place in early 2026.”
