The search is on to find the most dynamic video analytics system on the market to ensure the Metro Tunnel and its five new underground stations will operate safely and efficiently.
The Metro Tunnel Project is seeking Expressions of Interest from the open market to provide the extensive video analytics package.
Analysis of real-time CCTV footage will enable monitoring of passenger numbers on train platforms, as well as general security measures such as identifying suspicious objects or intruders in restricted areas.
Shortlisted companies will get to demonstrate their capabilities in a four-week trial in the City Loop.
