The Tasmanian Government has unveiled publicly its new Triple Zero emergency response platform for the state, devised and delivered by NEC Australia.
NEC Australia has provided its world-leading technology to replace the former Telstra analogue telephony service which was scheduled for decommissioning in 2019.
The agreement will see the Tasmanian Government via its Departments of Police, Fire and Emergency (DPFEM) and Health and Human Services (DHHS) partnered with NEC.

Under the agreement with the Tasmanian Government, NEC will retain ownership of all hardware and software and manage the system for the Government over a five year term.
