Fast User Disable

This feature makes disabling a user record virtually instant, preventing unauthorized parties from continuing to gain access after their record has been disabled at the server.
Requires controller firmware 2.08.1000

Integration with Princeton Identity Biometrics

This integration allows Princeton Identity iris scanners to be implemented with a Protege GX system, providing quick and secure identity verification.

Compliance Types

Compliance Types extend the existing functionality of Credential Types by allowing you to control access based on other requirements to improve compliance on site. Potential applications include:

  • A requirement for periodic health and safety training
  • Completion of company or job site induction
  • A certain class of driver’s license or vehicle certification
  • Industry training certificates or qualifications

Compliance Types can be configured with start and expiry dates, warning periods, user feedback, and hard or soft failure, making this a flexible feature that can meet a range of site specific requirements.

In the future, you’ll be able to get the most out of this new feature with an exciting new product – talk to your local sales representative if you’d like to get early access.

Saving Report Layouts

After filtering and/or grouping the results in an event report, operators can choose to save the layout and have it displayed automatically when opening the report.

Custom Field Select in Report Setup

When creating a report you can now select which fields (including custom fields) that the report will display data for, and set the order in which the columns are displayed.

Multiple Download Servers

Large sites can now use additional download servers to share the load and improve download speed. This is especially useful for situations where quick updates are required, such as adding new user records via Visitor Management Systems.
