The NSW Government’s Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED) has revoked 193 NSW security operative licences issued to ACT licensees under mutual recognition legislation since November 2024, according to a March 11, 2025, Facebook post.
“Our investigations found the ACT licensees had provided false addresses and/or false declarations to authorities in either the ACT or NSW in their security licence applications,” SLED’s post reads.
“As a result, their licences were revoked on public interest grounds. SLED is continuing to investigate other potentially fraudulent mutual recognition applications.”
