LastPass launches Cloud Backup for LastPass Authenticator

0

Leading password manager, LastPass, has announced Cloud Backup for LastPass Authenticator, a new opt-in feature delivering an effortless multifactor authentication experience for everyone.

Until now, LastPass Authenticator users were required to re-input credentials for every single account when upgrading or restoring their devices. With Cloud Backup, LastPass Authenticator can securely back up that information, enabling users to conveniently, securely and automatically transfer all multifactor authentication data when their devices are upgraded, replaced or restored.

The LastPass Authenticator database is protected with the same security architecture as the encrypted LastPass vault. For more information on the security of LastPass Authenticator Cloud Backup, please see the FAQ.
